First Grade

Welcome to First Grade at Parkside Elementary!

We are absolutely thrilled to welcome you and your child to an unforgettable school year. First grade is such a magical time full of big milestones, from becoming confident readers and curious mathematicians to building lifelong friendships and learning how to be great teammates.

Our team is dedicated to creating a safe, joyful, and encouraging classroom community where every single child feels valued, supported, and excited to learn each day. Throughout the year, your child will dive into wonderful stories, express themselves through creative writing, explore hands-on math, and practice kindness as we learn and grow together.
